Mandibular advancement device (MAD)
Most commonThe most widely used oral appliance for snoring. It holds the lower jaw (mandible) slightly forward, which tightens the soft tissues and muscles of the upper airway to prevent collapse and vibration.
Tongue-retaining device (TRD)
For specific casesHolds the tongue forward using gentle suction rather than repositioning the jaw. Recommended for patients with limited jaw mobility or those who cannot tolerate mandibular advancement.
Combination appliance

Impressions & bite registration
Precise impressions of your upper and lower teeth are taken, along with a bite registration that records your jaw's ideal forward position.
Custom fabrication
Your appliance is fabricated in a dental laboratory from durable, biocompatible materials, calibrated to your exact bite and jaw measurements.
Fitting & titration
We seat the appliance, check comfort and fit, and explain how to adjust the degree of jaw advancement — a process called titration — to find your optimal therapeutic position.
